FAQ
Fall Senior Photos?
I release my schedule about 3 months at a time. I am a full-time student and an RA at UNL. I intentionally take a step away from seniors during early August to adjust back to school and my other job. I plan to release the fall dates on August 15, 2026. Seniors who have submitted their application prior to August 15, 2026, will receive priority booking. I photograph seniors until early November. This time off and booking style allows me to fully show up for each and every one of my seniors.
When should I book my senior photos?
My application opens in January of 2026 for the 2027 seniors, but it’s best to book your session at least 2-3 months in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons like summer and fall.
Weekend Fee?
Yep! Between June and October, weekend senior sessions include a $100 weekend fee. My weekends are usually packed with weddings, editing, and a little time to just breathe (because I am a human too, who loves time at the lake and spending time with my family!). I only take on a handful of weekend sessions each season, so this fee helps me protect that time while still making space for those who really need a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Weekends tend to go fast, so if that’s what you’re hoping for, grab your spot early!
Can I include props or personal items in my session?
Absolutely! Feel free to bring props that showcase your hobbies, passions, or achievements—like sports gear, musical instruments, or graduation caps.
Can I bring a friend or family member to my session?
Of course! Having someone there for support is always a good idea!
What happens if the weather is bad on my session day?
We will keep a close eye on the forecast and reschedule if necessary. I do not make weather calls until an hour before your session time, as Nebraska weather can be unpredictable.
Omaha/ Lincoln?
During the summer, I am based in Omaha. I attend school in Lincoln, August- May. During the summer, my preference is to have sessions in Omaha, but I can make Lincoln work, as my boyfriend lives in Lincoln, so I have a reason to visit. After August 15, 2026, Omaha sessions will have a $50 travel fee. You're always welcome to visit me in Lincoln!
