Hey there! It's Alexa!

The face behind Lexa’s Lens! I’m a Nebraska-based wedding + lifestyle photographer who lives for capturing raw, joy-filled moments and turning them into forever memories. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me traveling, golfing, hanging out with my pup Frankie, or cheering on the Huskers (go Big Red!).

Let's get deep- my story.

 

My photography journey began back in high school during track season. As a thrower, I’d finish my events and suddenly have hours of downtime at meets. That all changed when I picked up my first camera — it quickly became my obsession. My teammates loved the photos I captured, and that’s where my passion for photography first sparked. From friends and family sessions to lifestyle shoots, I discovered how much I loved freezing real, authentic moments. Fast forward to today, and my camera still hasn’t left my side! I’m now in college at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, majoring in marketing, and building a photography business that lets me capture love stories, seniors, and families all across Nebraska and beyond.


When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me traveling, golfing, reading, or binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy, Yellowstone, or a good rom-com. I’m happiest spending time with my family, my long-term boyfriend Luke, and my pup Frankie. And of course, I never miss a Husker football game — go Big Red!


At every session, I bring fun, warm energy that makes the experience just as memorable as the photos. I’ll be your hype girl during senior pictures, the one tearing up at your first look on your wedding day, and the goofy friend who gets your little ones giggling during family sessions. My goal? To capture the raw, emotional, joy-filled moments you’ll want to relive forever.

My approach


When you’re in front of my camera, I want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and totally yourself. Honesty is a big part of how I work, and I want that to go both ways.


I’ll always be upfront about what to expect and how everything works, and I want you to feel just as safe being real with me. From our first message to your final gallery, my goal is that you feel seen, celebrated, and supported the whole way through.


I’m here to hype you up, help you through the awkward parts, and make this experience fun and easy, not forced. The best photos come from being honest with each other, and I’m all about that.
