When you book with me, you’re not just hiring someone to show up with a camera. You’re choosing someone who’s honest with you from the very beginning, someone who cares about your experience just as much as the photos. I’ll celebrate with you, cheer you on, and tell you the truth every step of the way so you feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely seen. My job isn’t to make things perfect; it’s to make them real, and to capture your story in a way that feels natural, emotional, and full of life.
The Booking Process
Once you fill out my inquiry form, I’ll be in touch within 48 hours to say hey and send over all the details.
When you’re ready to book, you’ll sign your contract and pay a 20% non-refundable retainer to officially secure your date. I also offer payment plans to help make things flexible. Your final invoice is sent two weeks before your session or event and is due the night before.
The Prep
Once you’re booked, I’ll send you a message so we can start planning together. We’ll go over your Pinterest board or inspo photos, chat about your vision, and I’ll send over location ideas that fit the vibe you’re going for.
Whether you know exactly what you want or have no clue where to start, I’ll help guide you so your session feels comfortable and authentic.
The Session
This is where the magic happens. I’ll give you light direction when you need it, but my goal is always to capture the real stuff, laughter, movement, and genuine connection. You don’t have to worry about what to do or how to pose; I’ll walk you through everything and make sure you actually enjoy the experience.
FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
Most clients book 1–3 months in advance, while weddings are often reserved 8–12 months ahead. The sooner you reach out, the better chance we’ll have to secure your preferred date. However, I sometimes have last-minute openings, so don’t hesitate to ask!
What happens after we book?
Once your date is secured, I’ll reach out so we can start planning! We’ll go over your Pinterest board or inspo photos, chat about your vision, and I’ll send over location ideas that fit the vibe you’re going for. I’ll guide you through every step so your session feels easy and true to you.
How many photos will we receive, and when?
Every session includes a guaranteed image minimum listed with your package, though I usually deliver more (because I can’t help myself). You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery within one week and your full gallery within 3–8 weeks, depending on the session type.
All images are delivered in a private online gallery where you can download, share, and print. If your package includes a print credit, you can use it toward albums, wall art, or professional prints.
Do you travel for sessions or weddings?
Yes! I’m based in Nebraska but love traveling wherever your story takes you. Travel fees vary depending on the distance, but I’ll always be upfront about costs.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
No worries, we’ll reschedule for a new date at no extra cost. Nebraska weather can be unpredictable, but I’ll always work with you to find the best backup plan.
How do payments work?
