How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book 8–12 months in advance, especially for popular dates in spring and fall. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have booked your venue. That said, I sometimes have last-minute availability, so it's never a bad idea to ask.
How many images will we receive, and when?
You’ll receive a minimum of 70–80 fully edited images per hour of coverage (so usually between 500–800 images for a full wedding day). I deliver sneak peeks within one week, and your full gallery will be ready within 6–10 weeks, depending on the size of your collection.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! I’m based in Nebraska but love traveling for weddings — whether that’s across the state or across the country. Travel fees vary depending on distance.
What if the timeline changes or we need more time on the wedding day?
Weddings rarely go exactly as planned (and that’s okay!). If things run behind or you decide you’d like extra time, you can always add additional coverage by the hour. I’ll check in throughout the day to make sure everything is covered and stress-free.
How do we book, and what are your payment terms?
To officially reserve your date, I require a 20% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract. The remaining balance is invoiced two weeks before your wedding and is due the night before your wedding day. I also offer custom payment plans to make things flexible and stress-free — just let me know what works best for you!
