Sienna's Senior Photos: A Beautiful Day in Kansas City


It’s not every day I get to photograph someone I’ve known since they were just 7 years old, but that’s exactly what made Sienna’s senior session so special. Watching her grow into the stunning young woman she is today has been such a joy, and I couldn’t wait to capture this milestone in her life- and I was happy to drive the 3 hours to make it happen!


For her senior session, Sienna chose my most popular package, The Signature Collection and we made the most of it with two beautiful locations in Kansas City: the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and Loose Park. We started at the museum, where Sienna wore a gorgeous pink short dress with heels. The color was perfect for her, and the soft pink gave her such a timeless, elegant look as we explored the iconic sculptures and architecture.


What made the museum session even more fun was incorporating a couple of my own props—a set of pink and orange disco balls! They perfectly matched Sienna’s bubbly, girly personality, adding a playful, energetic touch to her photos. It was the perfect way to showcase her fun-loving side while still keeping things classy.

Next, Sienna changed into a flowy pink and floral dress with a bow in her hair, and she went barefoot—adding a carefree touch to the outfit. The delicate floral pattern was perfect for the setting, and the vibe was so “Sienna”—beautiful and effortlessly stylish. We spent some time at the museum capturing those gorgeous details, and then made our way to Loose Park to finish the session.

At the park, Sienna wore a chic black skirt with a matching black tube top that had stunning lace details. The flowy skirt added movement and drama to her photos, and the barefoot look was perfect for the park’s natural beauty. As the sun began to set, the golden hour light made everything feel even more magical, and we finished the session with some stunning shots.

Sienna’s session was such a memorable one. From the elegant museum setting to the relaxed vibes of Loose Park, every moment was filled with joy and love. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has passed, but I’m so proud of the incredible young woman Sienna has become.
